Dr. Meghan Walker ND (inactive)
Naturopathic Doctor ChiefCheerleader of Entrepology Labs
I am interested in asking the questions and challenging the beliefs that hold people back from achieving their highest potential. I will attest to the wisdom of Bruce Lipton in his observation that our biography dictates our biology. I am convinced that you can be well even when you are sick and I affirm that good health flows from a platform rich in nutrients, grounded in emotional security and abundant in the potential for physical movement.
I believe in creating a safe place from which we can explore tough questions. I believe that good food is both difficult to come by and imperative to fueling our vitality. I have no doubt that respect for our planet and the organisms we share it with is an imperative to the abolishment of cancer and the cultivation of sustainable societies. These feelings, beliefs and absolutes inform my approach, life philosophy and passion for working with people through their healing and self-actualizing journey.
Creative Social Changer
I am deeply committed to social justice and believe that an empowered cultivation of self-worth and self-care can drive a legendary and substantive change on our planet.
Things I Love
My cherished family, my amazing friends, my daughters’ smiles, blue cheese & balsamic vinegar (together in the same meal), innovators, entrepreneurs, Africa (you must visit), kale (chips, steamed, raw or as décor), sailing and the complex, yet simple smell of a healthy forest.

I believe that the best way to lift our communities up and live happy, productive lives is to support each other in our successes. I’m super excited to be working with people who want to grow as a person, grow their business, and optimize their lifestyle to get what they want. When women (yes, specifically women) are confident and successful, we can be examples for others to follow and literally change the world around us!
I love being there when my patients fall off the wagon, because one of the biggest challenges to making lasting habit changes is knowing what to do when life gets in the way and ruins your momentum. I am passionate about teaching people to be savvy and empowered about their own physiology. I love being a medical detective – gathering clues from a comprehensive medical history, discovering what motivates a person to cling to or upgrade their health habits, and figuring out what obstacles are present in her patients’ lives that keep them from feeling and doing their best.
After getting my glider’s and pilot’s license as a teen, I turned down my acceptance to the Royal Military College to attend the University of Toronto and study my passion – human behavioural biology. After taking courses in international health and feminist studies I learned how modern medicine is not a sustainable model in some parts of the world. Modern medicine can be spectacularly life-saving but could also do a disservice to marginalized women and minority populations. The combination of this perspective and my deeper need to serve others, led me to find the naturopathic medical program. I was stoked to find out how logical and practical naturopathy was, in it’s philosophy and how it views and treats health issues. One of my favourite things about naturopathy and functional medicine is that it looks at the body as a whole, where all the systems connect and interact. What a wonderful way to figure out why a patient has symptoms and where they need to focus their efforts next.

My food/life philosophy is simple: Keep it real.
My journey into holistic nutrition started after travelling to various countries throughout the world and adopting the cultural diets accompanied every new stamp in my passport. Shifting through these culinary experiences, changed the way I felt both mentally and physically. [ Insert “a-ha” moment here]. Food was no longer about simply fuelling my taste-buds without considering the crippling digestive issues that would soon follow. After getting a taste of a more vibrant life, it was hard to go back to feeling mediocre. And so began my mission to fuel my body so that I could add little more pep in my step, sleep a little sounder and love the body I’m in without depriving my darling taste-buds their love for delicious food.
As a Holistic Nutritionist, my mission is to support people in living their most vibrant and authentic life by providing 1-on-1 nutritional consultations, workshops, webinars, meal plans, and group programs. During our 1-on-1 sessions, we will discuss your current diet & lifestyle, habits, health concerns and develop solutions that are healthy, sustainable and darn right delicious.
